Having taken part in other Pilates classes, Sarah's are the first where I have felt engaged with the principles of Pilates. It now makes sense and Sarah shows such an understanding of how the body and muscles work.
Pilates has been a crucial component in my journey to become fitter, to combat some back problems I'd had for years and to increase my strength. I am now a firm believer in the power of Pilates to help us to be mindful of our bodies, to relax, be strong and gain a more balanced approach to our ever hectic lifestyles.
It's funny how one becomes used to a baseline of chronic and persistant pain. It's a revelation and a relief to realise that it's been switched off after a massage. It's as though my body feels lighter and someone has oiled my head. I can actually turn my neck again!
For the last number of years Sarah has provided me with regular treatments for chronic and persistent back and neck problems. These have provided me with substantial relief. In particular Sarah understands when to use her considerable, strength and when to be gentle in her treatments.
